I recently got back from a trip with my family to Lake Havasu City, AZ. Here are a few images from my Dad's camera to give you a feel for it.

Rose Garden

Here are some pictures from the Rose Garden right by my school, taken on my new camera.

My "old" camera is a Nikon d40 so the Casio EX-V7SR I recently purchased may seem like a downgrade, but I love the size because now I have a camera with me everywhere I go.

Also, since I saved a few hundred bucks by buying it refurbished, I am less worried about hurting it every second with my perpetual clumsiness.

The 7x optical zoom is great, it has A, S, and M modes for more versatility, and the pictures aren't too shabby either.

Right?

I already have a livejournal for personal purposes and I'm not getting rid of it because it has history. Unlike many of my high school friends, I never got over the brief phase of blogging. I already have the silvershainagoes domain and a silverinthekitchen page for a family food blog. I figured I may as well get this name too because eventually I will use it.

Here's to a brightly blogging future!
